GhanaHope is a nonprofit organization that supports medical and educational needs in Ghana, Africa.
Ghana, a democratic country located in West Africa, has been independent since 1957. Although Ghana’s progress is impressive compared to other African countries, its needs for basic, quality health care and equipment are many.
Despite facing poverty and hardship, Ghanaians radiate a joy and zest for life that inspires the GhanaHope Foundation to help however we can.
Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville, Oregon operates as a sister hospital for the hospital in New Abirem, Ghana. A hospital-to-hospital model, the GhanaHope foundation provides necessary medical services such as mammograms and cervical cancer screenings; surgical procedures, subsidized travel for health care personnel, medical training for Ghanaian providers, and medical supplies and equipment.
GhanaHope’s work is ongoing. We seek to fill in the gaps by providing services, better equipment and supplies, medical training to Ghanaian health care personnel, and empowering the citizens of Ghana to improve their overall health.
We invite you to explore our website to learn more. And of course, your donation will directly benefit the physical and mental health of Ghanaians. Make the commitment today to positively impact global health and wellness!
